Re: Gauging interest in a $25 no-slot clock

From: hughhood@earthlink.net (Hugh Hood)

Willi,

The NSC and the Zip (at least the 8 MHz Zip 8000) work together happily,
with no issues.

Back when I ran //e's, (before seeing what a IIGS with a RamFAST could do),
I had 6 or 7 different //e's all running with Zip 8000's, NSC's, and 5Meg
RamFactor/RamCharger combos.

Should you decide to offer the NSC anyway, remember there are some utilities
that go with it, and I seem to recall using a small 'system' file that ran
on boot to fire it up for use with ProDOS. Sorry I don't remember the
specifics. Someone here will, though.

One respondent wanted to know if the no-slot clock is compatible
with a zipchip.  I don't know and I can't check for myself as I don't
own a zipchip.  Anyone know?

 Willi
