How do you presume to know these things? Doesn't matter what the
survivors do with the money it is none of your business.
Your prejudices and resentment are showing.
500,000 won't provide a life of comfort for a family. If the survivor
invest it and takes 4% that's only 20,000 per year.
Doesn't matter if the Soldier has college or no education. He died in
service to his Country. Would you have his family take to the soup
kitchen? The survivor will have to work anyway. 20,000 won't do much for
a family these days.
She should get medical for life and the kids to 18. They should get a
paid college education. They are being shortchanged by this
Administration. That is in now way or form too much for compensating a
family for the Soldier laying down his life.
You have no appreciation for these things. You lay on the damned couch
watching the boob tube and throwing prejudice and resentment at
everybody that is making a contribution and doing something while you
wait for it to be given to you. There is abuse by every segment of
society. Quite insulting our Soldiers and their families based on your
existence. Soldier's families are not the "leisurely poor."
