I see in the "are fields real" thread, that has become so long it's
not worth bothering with anymore, that Timo has generated a huge
polemic on what a "Liar" and other nasty things I am.
Too bad he was born without a brain, because he seems to have
forgotten that when you post on the internet there remains an exact
record of what you posted.
Timo vehemently maintains that he DID NOT ever say that "maths" were
real.
Now I quote one of his posts in that thread:
> "Is mathematics real" is not the question. There's surely a fuzzy area
> when talking about "real", but I think that if the fields have energy etc,
> they must be physically real. Perhaps fields without energy, momentum, or
> AM can be physically real too, but I think fields with them are physically
> real.
But wait. He is CLEARLY saying that fields are real. We all know that
fields are a mathematical construct. (see Einstein quote) There isn't
any proof that the forces that have been modeled with field theory are
continuous and extend throughout the entire universe as demanded by
field theory (see comments to Fred by Maxwell).
The inescapable conclusion proved by his own words is that Timo has
said that fields (and hence maths) are real. Now he denies it. And
then he includes a personal attack on me to help make his case.
This, of course, is therefore total confirmation of my second point:
Timo is a jerk.
