Subject: Resolving name without hosts
I have a few PC's in a LAN and none of them share the same domain or
workgroup. All the PC's have static IP addresses. Some of the PC's can
communicate with the others by means of their name, though these are not
registered in the hosts file.
How can experts here explain that?
