I'm using fingerprint readers for about half the computers in my
organization. I'm having an issue with my password policy on XP machines
(Vista works fine). The fingerprint reader software links to the domain
password.

Since about half of my users and computers use the fingerprint readers and
half don't I need to keep the same password policy in place. However, my
problem is when it comes time for the users who use the fingerprint readers
to change thier passwords the OLD PASSWORD field is blank or empty. Since
they have not used their password in 60 days they don't remember it and can't
change it. Then they end up getting locked out.

The whole point to fingerprint readers is so users don't have to know,
remember, or write down passwords.

Any ideas please!!!???
