microsoft.public.windowsxp.security_admin

I recently installed MS08-007 on a domain controller which was also the
domain's global catalog server. The domain controller was setup as a virtual
server with the Windows Server 2003 64 bit version of the OS. I confirmed
that I was installing the 64 bit version of the update before installing.
After I installed the patch, the server stopped responding as the global
catalog server and I needed to setup another domain controller as the global
catalog server.

Has anyone experienced this or similar issues with the update?
