Well... Canada may get there ahead of the US Congress. Couple
days ago it was announced that all new construction after 2014
must use carbon sequestration. Never mind that nobody anywhere
has built even a pilot project let alone a working plant using carbon
sequestration. It's not known if it will work, nor even really how to
do it. But after 2014 new plants will have to use it.

Sigh.

The head of the NDP actually got this one right. He says it's a
loud and clear message to "get the shovels in the ground" and
get those plants built before the new laws come into effect.
