Sounds delightful. Where would I find this speech? I mean, the one where
she makes those specific comments. I didn't read far in learning what
the book is about, but I have no particular problem when somebody points
out that what passes for "Capitalism" these days is a mess.
( Of interest is the reviewer at Amazon who characterized Friedman's as
"neo-liberal economic policies." Uh... am I mistaken or is this a
deliberate reversal I didn't know about? Because, don't libertarianish
types often refer to themselves as "Classical Liberals"? Oh, and he goes
on, about these policies: "because their results are disastrous -
depressions, mass poverty, private corporations looting public
wealth..." What the fuck is "public wealth"??? I can't take anymore...
and this is just the *reviews*! I'm going back to Space News...)
