"Accrual accounting" (basically discounting FICA revenue) is only a
part of the final audit which showed deficits in excess of $500
billion per those years, not including the true liability of Social
Security accounts or government pension funds. Maybe you should have
read the USA Today (hardly a right-wing Republican rag) article.
