lol....makes sure to ask a fundy christian in America or ultra
orthodox Jewish guys in Israel if using F-15s and cruise missiles is
justified for defending their respective religions too.
We are arguing apples and oranges here guy. I've never said Muslim
extremism isn't a problem... I just disagree with the hawks on what
needs to be done about it. I'm not saying "do nothing" I am saying
deal with some of the issues that we know pisses them off (that we do
wrong) and open up a dialog with the people on their end interested in
peace. Bottom line is they are human beings not cockroaches to be
exterminated.
In the end every organized religion is immoral because they are
founded on lies and draw unnecessary lines in the sand. However
trying to eliminate a 1000 year religion overnight is immoral because
of the immense human suffering it would cause. Suffering is a bad
thing in my book.
All religions fade given enough time....not too many pagans and people
that believe in Ra anymore. Religion is a long term project where
individuals need to come to grips with reality on their own
terms....not have a musket shoved down their throat and told what to
believe (refer to your first amendment) If it takes centuries to fix
so be it.
