Bullshit. One cannot pull accurate data out of a hat. The
instrumentation to measure both climate and weather did not exist in the
period 1700 to 1800. The closest thing to good data was Ben Franklin's
measurement of the temperature of the Gulf Stream. There were not good
thermometers until nearly the end of that century.
Electromagnet wind measuring machines did not exist in that century.
Propery measurement of relative humidity was not done until the middle
of the 19th century.
Like I asked: what data? what goodness of fit?
