There have been a few incidents where some goof ball Muslim shot up LAX,
killed a few people at a shopping mall or flew a private plane into a Tampa
skyscraper, and they got very limited coverage as acts of terrorism. There
was certainly no "long line up of politicians up to the highest levels of
government waiting to be photographed and voice their outrage" as you
suggest. You may have even been one of the many that didn't know of the
Islamist connections.

Still, those incidents got more coverage than this firebombing. One reason
was that they were more spectacular and deadly attacks. The other is that
this white supremacist fire bombing was not conducted in the middle of a
protracted bloody war declared on us by white supremacists, representing
their capacity to project power onto our shores, rather than because we're a
bunch of hate-filled, islamophobe bigots (like some perspective-challenged
fool here thinks).
