That was when the Club of Rome was predicting the next ice age. They
were afraid of the TTAPS scenario where sunlight would be blocked and we
would perish the way the dinosaurs perished. In the cold and dark. Carl
Sagan was a big advocate of that doomsday scenario. He thought we would
be bured by billyuns and billyuns of icicles.
