Wrong. In it's pure form 1st century Christianity was actually socialistic, a theme which marxists
try to mimic and codify into "law".
Acts 2:42-43 "And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in
breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were
done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common"
The penalty for lying under this pure form of socialism was instant death....
Acts 5:3-4 But Peter said, "Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and
to keep back part of the price of the land?" "Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it
was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou
hast not lied unto men, but unto God."
Acts 5:5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear
came on all them that heard these things.
Man's codification of "law" is merely second best at best when you get right down to it.
God's way is far superior in that God puts His law directly into the hearts and minds of His
children....
"Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 'This is the
covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their
hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no
more'." (Hebrews 10:15-17)
