Puts me in mind of the woman who was pulled over for speeding, and, when the
officer approached her car began yelling at him that she had not been going
any faster than anyone else, and he had no right to pull her over. Her
diatribe was peppered with profanity, and her demeanor was aggressive and
angry. The officer asked her to step from the car, and promptly handcuffed
her and took her to the station, where she sat in a room by herself for
nearly an hour. When she was led out of the room, her husband was waiting.

"What are you doing here," she asked, hurrying into his protective arms.

"I called him," the officer said. "I thought you might have stolen the car,
and needed someone to identify you.

"But why did you think I stole the car?"

"Well, Ma'am, the way you were carrying on did not match your 'Praise the
Lord Always' and 'Jesus is My Lord' bumper stickers, so I thought I should
check to make sure you were who you said you were.
