Mr. LeChevalier, no one has apparently thought you the difference between
what is relevant and what not to a particular subject; nor the rational
limitations on ex cathedra pronouncement, or question begging non sequiturs.
You have repeatedly felt the need to offer insult, whenever one posts in
favor of Ron Paul. Ron Paul apparently frightens you in some manner. If
you really thought we were all losers, you would not waste your precious
time on these posts. But enough of the obvious.
Yet you provide a certain benefit as a foil, in this instance, so see below:

A silly example of playground "logic." Your mom would not be proud of you.

James Madison was even more of a libertarian than I or Ron Paul, and--if you
were the erudite fellow you pose as--you should know that he justified our
written Constitution in part on the basis that it would help protect us from
Democracy. (Federalist # 10) To paraphrase the late R. Carter Pittman, a
Constitutional scholar, some years ago, there is an eternal conflict between
Liberty and Equality, as free men are never equal and equal men are never
free. Democracy in the Third World has proven a disaster, often leading to
genocide--as in the case of Rwanda. It is premised on egalitarianism, and
hence can be the most dangerous enemy of actual liberty.
But, of course, the point in the lead post, was not about Democracy, one way
or the other, but about the defeat of the party of President Bush's
ally--his strongest--militarily Islamic ally. That is a real demonstration
of his folly in trying to "reform" Islamic societies--real evidence that
McCain is on the wrong track in vowing to continue the policy.
You need to put things in context, or you deal in fantasy--even where you
occasionally actually cite something in itself factual.
