From what I could see, Steamboat Springs uses flash technology for the
most part. All geothermal adds up to on third of one quad. This is not
Iceland. At that:
In 2006, 26.5 % of electricity generation in Iceland came from
geothermal energy, 73.4 % from hydro power.
But they have so much of it that domestic heating is a cake walk for them.
