You lose again. I couldn't care less what you deny, ultimately or
otherwise. Nor does it matter much to me whether, whom, or how the
founders may have relied upon.
I want Christian wannabes to stop serving The Prince of Liars, and
driving people away from Christ's message with their perversions of
that message. But I know that even this ultimately doesn't matter.
God can handle your ilk with no trouble.
I want the education newsgroups to talk about education a lot more
than they do.

I don't care what you talk about. I would prefer that you not talk
about it on the education newsgroups.
I do think the world would be a better place if there weren't so many
people that are so sure that they are "chosen" or "gifted" or
"blessed" in some special way. It's kinda sad knowing that so many
are wrong in such a fundamentally sad way.
If God chooses someone, that is up to God, and nobody's business but
His. If God tells me that someone is chosen, I have good reason to
believe Him. If someone tells that someone else is chosen, I'll look
for evidence of John-the-Baptist syndrome. If someone tells me that
THEY are chosen, then I know that they are a liar and servant of
Satan.

I am not in the least confused.

God can see whatever He wants with His eyes. He can choose whatever
or whoever He wants for whatever purpose He wants.
Alas, Satan has fooled some Christian wannabes into thinking that they
can choose themselves and that this somehow magically means that God
has chosen them. The purposes that they serve are anything but
benevolent, and this is obvious to anyone who listens to them.

The DOI is irrelevant. It is not law.
