They were not all Christians. Jefferson, Franklin and others were deists,
but, once again, that is irrelevant. What they believed was not reflected
in the founding document, i.e. the US Constitution. The ideas in that
document reflect the ideas of the Enlightenment, the ideas of such men as
Montesquieu, Voltaire, Rousseau etc. None of them was Christian, on the
contrary. Ideas such as freedom of religion, of the press, individual
rights have nothing to do with Christianity. So, once again, no matter what
some of the founders thought or said, the country was established on firmly
secular grounds.

Babble away. The US is still a free country. You better hurry though; the
Christians are doing their best to wipe out that freedom. The attempt to
rewrite history is part of that effort.
