Jefferson himself did not believe in slave plantations.
As for the subject, this has not changed. None of the
advances listed affect the truth of that statement of
Jefferson. That is why I will not contribute to the
United Way; some of it goes to organizations which do
just that, and earmarked money is put in before the
allocation of all non-earmarked money is made.
