Perhaps the most egregious thing here is that there seems to be no
apparent need for a new vehicle of this type. Fairly minor
modifications of existing vehicles to improve their fuel efficiency
and utility would surely better meet the needs of that handful of
people needing that kind of functionality.

Conceptually, the idea of a vehicle designed for those wanting to
recreate themselves by trashing wilderness being more GHG friendly,
and not by much, seems bizarre.
