1. "Malfeasance in classrooms" is not defined in the criminal law of
any jurisdiction
2. The DC employees that were fired were administrators, and thus
probably never got anywhere near a classroom.
3. They were fired "without cause", the law having been specifically
changed to make administrative positions "at will" positions; thus it
cannot really be said whether they were doing a good job or not.
Nobody, including the person who fired them said they were doing a bad
job; the superintendent has simply been given a mandate to make major
changes, and that usually requires a change in management employees.
