I would say it is safe to say multiGw in excess of Steamboat Springs which
is estimated by the engineer/geologist at
between 250Mw and 500Mw in renewable power output. And with drilling and all,
cheaper than that wattage solar or
wind........Steamboat has even demo'ed cheaper than oil and gas at this time
between 4 competing geothermal companies soon to be 7(should be 264Mw at
that time, real estate value for the geothermal land areas has jump
dramatically in the past 15 years with no sign of falling in the near
future.).
I would assume the same story on any land near Yellowstone in the near
future as surveys come in on successful wells.(Steamboat is rolling 5 times
value on bare dirt over a good survey site.)
