An interesting site. I saw on a PBS special that the last time
that dome popped it blew ash all the way to the Gulf coast, and
there is some speculation that another eruption of that magnitude
might well do serious damage to Chicago.
If that's true, I would guess that we'd be hard put to drain away
enough energy to retire Old Faithful.
