Modern passener airliners emit about the same CO2 as you'd get if those
passengers went the same distance by car ( 2 to a car).

Of course first you have to PROVE that the CO2 is harmful whi ch as yet
HASN'T happened. It's still all speculation and fairly weak speculation at
that. The idea that CO2 drives climate is an entirely new one and does sit
comfortably with long-established climate science.
