Well, actually, I think that the menorah is more of a cultural symbol
than a religious symbol. The 9-candle menorah, which is the one most
commonly seen in such displays, is associated with the non-religious
Jewish holiday Hanukkah, which is a celebration of a ancient
revolution in Israel.
