I'd like to add that quite a lot of the biofuels, and especially the
2nd generation ones such as cellulosic ethanol, are unlikely to impact
the food supply. And starvation is most often the result of
inefficiencies in distribution, as opposed to actual worldwide
shortages of food.

Same as above.. Btw, most biofuel (say biodiesel) companies have been
severely affected in a negative way by rising commodity prices as
well, such that many have turned to (much more renewable) waste oil
and animal fats.

Simple. There's not enough dinofuel to go around, and dinofuel does
cause a hell lot more pollution than most biofuels.

Only if the biofuels are produced from razed rainforests. In fact,
most of the biodiesel traded is from waste oil, oil from old farmland,
and even waste animal fat!
