Actually, nobody does. People on this group usually team
up to ignore spammers and trolls, so they go away. Keeps
traffic high enough to keep us from getting dumped for
inactivity (if they still do such a thing.)
I thought newsgroups had a moderator, so to speak. At least, I thought this
on had one.
Groups that are moderated generally have .mod at the end of
their titles, and actually most are not, hence the frequent
flamefests on other groups. This one was newgrouped (that
is, introduced by Jeff, whose last name I cannot for the life
of me remember now, and he may not be posting anymore,
as he and I went thru some life-shaking health problems at
the same time, about 6-7 years ago. Nearly killed me, and
I hate to say it, but coulda taken him, too. Too bad if so,
he was a personable Pictures of People">guy and had an encyclopedic grasp
of mythology.
Oh, update on my blademaking...
Got a nice pine Archer's sword, sanded, polished and stained...
Not really familiar with an Archer's sword, but I suspect it
would be fairly short, kinda like an Arkansas Toothpick.
Bow being so long, I would think a long sword would
interfere with mobility. Just trying to logic it out, when
I could just as easily look it up.....just lazy, I guess.
